The site is a replacement service for the previous Pricemaker site and includes many improvements, a number of advanced tools as well as a fresh, easy to use interface.
What is Woolcheque?
Woolcheque provides independent pricing of your wool clip based on the latest daily or historical prices.
Woolcheque includes many advanced features such as up to date market pricing, automatic retrieval of your previously sold lots from the Australian Wool Exchange database, useful price charts and lot benchmarking.
Woolcheque can be used for:
- modelling different clip scenarios and flock management strategies;
- daily and historical pricing of woolgrower clip details;
- understanding the role that premiums and discounts for staple strength, VM, staple length etc play in achieving profitability;
- appreciating the importance of risk management;
- understanding why similar lots within a dynamic auction system rarely achieve the same pricing.
