Wool4Wealth (New South Wales)
The Wool4Wealth grower groups for New South Wales, launched in March 2005, are a valuable way of helping woolgrowers adopt new and improved ways of doing business. The NSW network will incorporate groups of between 10 and 20 farm businesses that over three years will look at profit drivers, compare practices and look for opportunities to lift members’ profits. Bestprac (Rangelands of SA, NSW, Qld and WA)
The Bestprac program aims to have rangeland woolgrowers applying a management system that lifts individual profit, well-being and environment by five per cent. Bestprac involves woolgrowers assessing their businesses to identify "strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats" and then deciding on priorities.
